4 May- 6 May 2013 - Warwick Castle/Bank Holiday/May Day

We had a very busy weekend but it was fun and most of the weather was nice.  We did have a period of Rain and Hail on Saturday but with no plans for that morning/ afternoon we were ok listening to it inside.

Starting Thursday of last week we started to have internet issues.  The internet would come on and then once I were to log onto my computer, the broadband connection would drop.  It was a very frustrating time!  Most of my updates had to be placed using my phone's internet which has always been coming and going.  I was hard to not be able to freely communicate with everyone back home.

Saturday, Mat and a group of his colleagues from work completed the Tough Mudder competition in North London.  It was a last minute chance to do it and he was glad that he was able to work it all out.  He said he would do it again but it was challenging being cold, wet, and muddy!

Thank you to Kim Pollard ( One of the wives )  and the tough mudder photography crew for the photos!

Saturday night we went to a Cinco De Mayo party on base for a bit and then had a sleep over.  We woke up Sunday morning, had breakfast, and then left for Warwick Castle.

The castle was large and had so much for the kids to do.  It is more like a park with a castle included.  They had shows going on throughout the day that kept us all busy.  At the start of the day it was cold and looked as if it were going to rain but by the end of the day it was 21 degrees C (  about 70 degrees F) with a mixture of sun and clouds.
